How Winning Is Done

News Story

History was just made: Pace’s field hockey team capped off an incredible regular season and is now ranked the #2 team in the nation! Support your Setters on Tuesday, November 13, as they as they begin their quest for an NE10 Tournament title.

Congratulations are in order! On Tuesday, November 6, 2018, Pace’s field hockey team made history with their 3-1 win over ninth-ranked Stonehill College, capping off an incredible 13-0 regular season (17-1 overall) inside the Northeast-10 Conference. While the team has only been around for four years, they’ve earned the outright NE10 regular-season championship for the first time in program history. Not to mention the fact that they’re now ranked second in the nation. Talk about Setter pride!

Head Coach Kayte Kinsley, who was featured in Pace Magazine last year, leads this incredible 12-member senior class. Their hard work and dedication is exemplary of the commitment Pace Athletics has in nurturing the skills of all student-athletes. After all: the game doesn’t stop once you step off the field—those skills are important in all areas of life, especially in the workplace.

As the top seed in the conference, Pace will host a FREE Northeast-10 Tournament Quarterfinal game:

Tuesday, November 13
6:00 p.m.
Finnerty Field
PLV Campus

Come out to support your fellow Setters! There are more games to look forward to this November as well. We wish all our student-athletes, their coaches, and their fans a very well-deserved congratulations.
