HR Updates: April 2018
Take your daughter or son to work on April 26! Also, learn more about a great educational resource offered free to the Pace Community.
Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work® Day
Thursday, April 26, 2018, is Pace University's Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work® Day. The event is based upon the national campaign, Take Our Daughters to Work Day, which was created in 1993 by the Ms. Foundation, and gives children the opportunity to go to work with a parent instead of going to school for one day.
As a champion for talent development, Human Resources wants staff and faculty to be aware of Lynda.com, a great resource that will help you to build your knowledge, skills, and abilities. Courses on Lynda—which range from photography to software design—are available free to the entire Pace Community.
As the warmer weather (finally) rolls in, Pace professors aren’t taking a break just yet—they’re lending their expertise to several publications, and we’ve got it all here for you. Talk about summer reading!
