Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work® Day
Thursday, April 26, 2018, is Pace University's Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work® Day. The event is based upon the national campaign, Take Our Daughters to Work Day, which was created in 1993 by the Ms. Foundation, and gives children the opportunity to go to work with a parent instead of going to school for one day.
As a champion for talent development, Human Resources wants staff and faculty to be aware of Lynda.com, a great resource that will help you to build your knowledge, skills, and abilities. Courses on Lynda—which range from photography to software design—are available free to the entire Pace Community.
From a panel about comics and culture, to community service, an exclusive book signing and talk, and Lubin’s One Day Immersion, there’s no shortage of on-campus events events for faculty and staff.
