The Nominations Database Is Officially Open!
The nominations database for Pace University faculty and staff is officially open! The Employee Recognition program is a chance for the Pace Community to recognize the many accomplishments that our talented faculty and staff has achieved. If you are reaching a milestone in Years of Service, are nominated for a Special Award, are receiving acknowledgements for achievements in your day-to-day roles through the YES program, we want to know, because your contribution to our community is vital and noticed.
Summer Flex Hours are Back!
In an ongoing effort to recognize your contributions, Pace will be offering summer flex hours again this year. This summer, full-time staff members who were hired on or before May 1, 2017, will have the chance to take off every other Friday, for three Fridays, or the equivalent of three days. For those working an 80% schedule, this works out to be 2.5 days. The Summer Flex Hours opportunity begins on July 3 and continues through September 1. In order to take advantage of this opportunity, full-time employees must be actively working.
PMDP
On June 1, Human Resources’ Organizational Learning and Development department opened this year’s PMDP (Performance Management Development Process). Between now and the end of September, all staff are required to complete a self-reflection. This includes a review of last year’s achievements, drafting goals for the coming year, and articulating professional development opportunities. Your supervisor will then complete your evaluation and arrange a performance review discussion with you. HR has developed an online tutorial to explain how to navigate the changes. In-class training will also be available throughout the summer, which you can register for now. If you have any questions, please email hrperformancemgt@pace.edu.
