The Hunting Ground (NYC)
Their dream school became a nightmare. Join PAASA and the Dean for Students at a February 8 screening of a groundbreaking documentary about sexual assault on American college campuses.
Fact: One in five women will be sexually assaulted in college.
On Monday, February 8, at 7:00 p.m. in the Student Union, the Peer Advocates Against Sexual Assault (PAASA) and the NYC Dean for Students present a screening of The Hunting Ground.
From the makers of The Invisible War comes the new documentary The Hunting Ground, an exposé of rape crimes on US college campuses, their cover-ups, and the devastating toll they take on students and their families. Weaving together vérité footage and first-person testimonies, the film follows the lives of several undergraduate assault survivors as they attempt to pursue—despite incredible push back, harassment, and traumatic aftermath—both their education and justice.
