Inside the Actors Studio: Willem Dafoe (NYC)
#GoT and Narcos actor Pedro Pascal will be hosting the next Inside the Actors Studio on Monday, May 13. He’s set to interview four-time Academy Award nominated actor Willem Dafoe right here on Pace's NYC Campus.
The Actors Studio Drama School is proud to welcome Pedro Pascal as a guest host for this special segment of Inside the Actors Studio. Pascal, best known for his role as Oberyn Martell in HBO’s Game of Thrones series and in Netflix’s Narcos, also has extensive stage experience as both an actor and director. He received the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award and Garland Award for his role in the International City Theater production of Orphans. He just recently made his Broadway debut in Sam Gold’s production of King Lear. Also this year, Pascal will be seen playing the titular role in the newest Star Wars series, The Mandalorian.
He will be joined by four-time Academy Award nominated actor Willem Dafoe. Having made more than 100 films in his legendary career, Dafoe is internationally respected for bringing versatility, boldness, and daring to some of the most iconic films of our time. His natural adventurousness is evident in roles as diverse as the elite assassin in the neo-noir John Wick, the obsessed FBI agent in the cult classic The Boondock Saints, and as Aquaman’s mentor in James Wan’s billion-dollar blockbuster. Upcoming projects include Dee Rees’ The Last Thing He Wanted, Edward Norton’s Motherless Brooklyn, Robert Eggers’ The Lighthouse, Abel Ferrara’s Tommaso, and Ericson Core’s Togo.
