Blackboard Ultra Upgrade

A new version of Blackboard is coming!

A new Blackboard version called Ultra is being launched on Thursday, May 23. Users will notice a new landing page and navigation menu with a modern look. This menu remains in view as you move from page to page, even when you're in a course. Current courses will not be affected by this change. However, starting after the new calendar year (2020), new courses will also be created in the Ultra view.

Instructors can get a jump on the Ultra experience by:

MyPace Mobile App Upgrade

The MyPace Mobile App is getting an upgrade! In June 2019, all MyPace Mobile App users will receive an automatic update to the version currently installed on their device. The new look and feel of the app will be significantly different, so the first time you log in after applying the update you will get a short, guided tour of the new app's setup.

The core functionality around course and roster listings, as well as integrations with Blackboard course information, remain along with helpful links to essential University resources. New features include a whole new level of customization that allows you to reconfigure the app to deliver exactly the content you use most often and rely on most heavily. This new app also features a new emphasis on cross-campus communication, offering you the chance to connect with other members of the Pace Community on a safe, protected social networking platform.

Overall, there are too many new features to list here so we encourage all Pace students, faculty, and staff to download the app and start to explore the ways this exciting new tool can be used to improve your Pace experience. Any questions, comments, or concerns should be forwarded directly to the ITS web and mobile service team.
