Jefferson Awards 2019–2020

News Story

Know a student, faculty, or staff member whose community service efforts are changing Pace and/or the world? Nominate them for a Jefferson Award by October 11, 2019.

Each year, the Jefferson Awards for Public Service looks for the unsung heroes—the selfless people who make the world a better place through volunteering and community service efforts. Known as the “Nobel Prize for public service,” the awards recognize ordinary people who do extraordinary things without needing recognition. And we know there are a ton of you right here at Pace!

The Center for Community Action and Research is requesting nominations from Pace University students, faculty, and staff for this year’s Jefferson Awards for Public Service. If you or someone you know is making a difference in the community (whether they are doing it inside or outside of Pace), nominate them today

Over the last decade we have awarded over 70 bronze medals, 12 gold medals, and have had 2 National Champions. Please help us find this year’s standouts!

All members of the Pace University Community are eligible for a Jefferson Award. Nominate yourself or another student, staff, or faculty member by filling out the Jefferson Award formThe deadline for submissions is October 11.
