The Last Lecture: Spring 2021

News Story

Join Professor Dana Cadman on Monday, April 5, when she delivers her ‘last’ lecture—the series where Pace students vote for the professor they’d most like to hear share a message if this were their last chance to lecture. This is one class you won’t want to miss!

The Last Lecture is a concept present on many college campuses. Students on the PLV Campus get to vote for a faculty member they’d like to see address whatever message the professor would leave behind if this were their very last opportunity to lecture. It’s a wonderful and thought-provoking opportunity for everyone involved, and this time will be no different!

Distinguished English Professor Dana Cadman has been selected this round, and she has chosen the topic of “The Syntax of Self: Inhabitance in a Fragmented World.” Dana will be examining the construction, curation, and performance of personhood IRL, in media, and in virtual spaces. Everyone is welcome to join as she delivers this ‘last’ lecture for Pace students:
