The Last Lecture

News Story

Hear retired Dyson Professor Howard Weishaus, PhD, address the US presidency throughout his career during the Last Lecture on February 15.

If you could lecture students one last time, what would you say? For the second year in a row, retired Dyson Professor Howard Weishaus, PhD, will answer this question through his talk, the Last Lecture on Wednesday, February 15 ,at 9:00 p.m. in Willcox Lecture Hall. The lecture, titled “Presidency Through The Years,” will consist of Weishaus speaking about the presidency throughout his teaching career from President Franklin D. Roosevelt to current President Donald Trump.

Although Weishaus has retired, the students within Pace’s Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honor society, strongly believe he has a message that should be heard by all students, faculty, and staff. The Last Lecture is a concept present on many college campuses and features a prominent faculty member addressing what message they would leave behind if this were their very last opportunity to lecture.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information on Omicron Delta Kappa, check them out on OrgSync.
