Leadership in Tech: Merin Joseph (PLV)

News Story

Pace alumna Merin Joseph ’02 knows her stuff: she’s an executive vice president and chief information officer, IT strategist, and she’ll be visiting on Wednesday, November 28, to meet you!

As executive vice president and chief information officer at WESTMED Practice Partners (WPP), Pace alumna Merin Joseph ’02 is responsible for defining and advancing WPP’s information technology strategy. Her goals include the development of cutting-edge technical platform that delivers a bias toward operational excellence as well as innovation across the entire company. She’s even been profiled with regional honors as one of the “Most Successful Women in Business” by Westchester Magazine and “Notable Women in Healthcare” by Crain’s.

Joseph was instrumental in WPP becoming an early adopter of electronic medical records; well ahead of the curve when other health care organizations were years behind. She has also made it possible for WESTMED to pioneer countless new applications by not only working closely with the vendors, but often demanding capabilities and services of them which push the envelope of the status quo to provide the best possible experience for our providers and patients alike. And now? She’ll be visiting Pace:
