Mad Love for Mad Blood (NYC)

News Story

Every three seconds, someone needs a lifesaving blood transfusion. Roll up your sleeves because the Pace Physician Assistant Program is hosting a blood drive on March 11.

Did you know that just one pint of blood can save as many as three lives? And if you began donating blood at age 17 and donated every 56 days until you reached 76, you would have donated 48 gallons of blood, potentially helping save more than 1,000 lives. That may be a lot to process, but right now, we're just asking you for one donation.

The Pace University-Lenox Hill Hospital Physician Assistant Program is teaming up with the Red Cross to host their annual blood drive on Friday, March 11, from 12:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. in the Student Union on the NYC Campus.

Appointments are encouraged (and shorten waiting times), but walk-ins are welcome the day of the blood drive. Stop by One Pace Plaza  to schedule an appointment, download the blood app, or click here and use sponsor code pacenyc. Every drop counts!
