News Story

Join members of the FBI and the Criminal Justice Society at PLV on Wednesday, October 25, for a thorough panel discussion on human trafficking.

The International Labour Organization (ILO) estimates that 20.9 million people globally are victims of human trafficking; 68% are trapped in force labor, 55% are women and girls, and 28% are children. Further, human trafficking generates $150 billion as an industry, according to the ILO. It’s the fastest growing business of organized crime and the third largest enterprise in the world.

If you’re passionate about fighting this terrible injustice and want to learn more, you’re invited to join the Criminal Justice Society for a panel discussion with members of the FBI, including a Special Agent, Victims Specialist, and an Analyst.
