Sacred: Milestones of a Spiritual Life
7:30 p.m. | Thursday, September 20
This film, shot by over 40 filmmaking teams around the world, investigates the complex and cornerstone uses of faith and spiritual practice. Sacred explores faith as a primary human experience, and examines how diverse populations turn to ritual and prayer to navigate the milestones and crises of private life. Caroline Rhea

An accomplished stand-up comedian and actress, Caroline Rhea brings a fresh perspective to all of her wide-ranging work. She’s best known for her role as Aunt Hilda on the hit WB sitcom Sabrina, The Teenage Witch, and has starred in feature films alongside Jim Carrey, Tim Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis, and more. Hamilton’s Mandy Gonzalez

Mandy Gonzalez has taken the Broadway world by storm. Live from the Schimmel, Gonzalez will perform songs for her new EP, Fearless: B Sides, a follow-up to her debut album Fearless. Farewell Angelina

Named one of Rolling Stone’s “New Artists You Need To Know,” Farewell Angelina is a an all-female alt-country group with powerhouse vocalists, dynamic songwriters, and trailblazing multi-instrumentalists. L. Shankar
7:30 p.m. | Saturday, October 6
Renowned violinist and vocalist L. Shankar will be making a rare New York appearance alongside tabla maestro Abhijit Banerjee and Chris Garcia, who will play the South Indian ghatam (clay pot) and kanjira (frame drum). Shankar is known for his dazzling use of the 10-string double violin, which covers the whole range of the orchestra’s string section and has been utilized by Shankar to expand the international audience for Indian music. Bernie Williams and His All-Star Band
