Current Students

The Center for Student Development and Campus Activities (SDCA) hires several different student positions on the PLV Campus throughout the entire year. These positions vary from student office staff to graduate students, but each staff member is an integral part of the office’s operations. You’ll gain an understanding of student activities and leadership opportunities, acquire office skills and competencies, and become familiar with countless programs on campus. Student staff are part of the office family and have a unique opportunity to work for this fast-paced and high-energy office.

Be sure to review the SDCA website thoroughly and apply by Friday, April 9, 2021, if interested. Priority will be given to qualified candidates who are eligible for work study. Here are just a few positions that are available right now:

Campus Activities Assistant

• >> Front office responsibilities including customer service to students, faculty, and staff;
• >> Assists with administrative duties, program development, and training;

Commuter Assistant

• >> Assists coordinator for student development in providing service for the commuter population;
• >> Handles program development and implementation for commuters;
• >> And more

Marketing Intern

• >> Assists with developing the overall vision and implementation of marketing for SDCA;
• >> Helps promote events through posting on social media;
• >> And more!

Finance Intern

• >> Assists professionals and student support staff in directly supporting the stability of the student organization agency accounts;

Clifton Strengths Intern

• >> Provides support and input for the strengths newest initiatives hosted by SDCA and Student Affairs staff;

Program Specialists

• >> Maintains and monitors weekly space requests for student organizations;
• >> Serves as a consultant for all student organization programs;
