Out of the Darkness Campus Walk 2019 (NYC)

News Story

We invite you to walk with the Pace Community on Friday, April 26, to raise awareness about suicide and eliminate stigma surrounding mental health. No one is ever alone. Join us!

You can make a difference just by showing up. Active Minds, a nonprofit working to change the conversation surrounding mental health on campus, invites you to their third annual Out of the Darkness Campus Walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). AFSP is the leading organization behind suicide prevention through research, advocacy, educational programs, and supporting survivors, and an important initiative to the entire Pace Community.

When you arrive, there will be exhibits and booths set up before the walk begins. We hope to see you there:

Friday, April 26, 2019
9:00 a.m.
Outside One Pace Plaza

Please register to attend this event. For more information, you can email Jessica McDevitt or Zuher Ibrahim.

Most importantly, remember that you’re never alone. Even if it might feel that way, we urge you to reach out to the Counseling Center for help. Our team is standing by to guide you through any issue, big or small.
