Pace Goes Pink (PLV)
We love you blue and gold, but we think we need a little break. Join the football and soccer teams as they pink up the Pace and raise money for breast cancer.
One of the most popular athletics campaigns, Pace Goes Pink, is back for its 4th annual year thanks to the Pace Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC), raising money for the Northern Westchester Hospital Breast Institute in honor of breast cancer awareness month.
The Pace football team kicks off the campaign on Saturday, October 18, at 12:00 p.m. as they play Stonehill College in Northeast-10 Conference action. All fans riding the shuttle bus to Anne M. Dorner Field in Ossining will receive the Pace Goes Pink arm bands, and Pace Goes Pink t-shirts will be sold at the bus kiosks as well as at the game for $5.
Pace Women's Soccer follows up with their Pace Goes Pink game on Tuesday, October 21, at 4:00 p.m. as they take on the University of New Haven Chargers on Pace Field.
Pace Goes Pink logo t-shirts will also be sold for $5 throughout the year. Seven varsity teams will be participating in the campaign sponsored by Twin Jewelers of Pleasantville at athletic contests on campus. Each athletic team will designate a game as their Pace Goes Pink event on campus during the school year and members of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee will be on hand to sell t-shirts and promote awareness. All fans at each game will receive Pace Goes Pink arm bands for attending the game.
