Greek Governing Councils
Pace fraternities and sororities come together in their “councils” to advance campus life for Greeks and non-Greeks alike. Councils offer national representation, resources, and support to Greek organizations on campus. Each official Greek organization must be represented under a governing council.
Interfraternity Council (IFC): is comprised of four national fraternities (Alpha Phi Delta, Alpha Chi Rho, Phi Kappa Tau, and Tau Kappa Epsilon) and one local fraternity (Alpha Chi Epsilon). For more information, check out the IFC website.
National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO): is comprised of three Latino/a fraternities and sororities (Lambda Upsilon Lambda, Omega Phi Beta, and Sigma Lambda Upsilon). For more information, check out the NALFO website.
National Panhellenic Council (NPHC): is comprised of five predominantly African-American fraternities and sororities (Alpha Phi Alpha, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Kappa Alpha Psi, Sigma Gamma Rho, and Omega Psi Phi). For more information, check out the NPHC website.
Panhellenic Council (PHC): is comprised of five sororities (Alpha Lambda Sigma*, Delta Phi Epsilon, Nu Zeta Phi, Phi Sigma Sigma, and Sigma Iota Chi). For more information, check out the PHC website.
United Cultural Council (UCC): promotes and fosters positive inter-fraternal relations, communication, and development of all cultural organizations. UCC unifies and enhances student development through celebrating diversity, participating in civic engagement, and upholding high scholastic standards. Order of Omega: is a leadership honor society for members of fraternity and sorority organizations. It recognizes juniors and seniors who have exemplified high standards in the areas of scholarship, leadership, and involvement within their respective organization and the local community.
