The Health and Wellness Committee is excited to present its current and upcoming health and wellness programs—as we head into the holidays, be sure to make some time for self-care!

Upcoming Wellness Events (NYC)

Giving to Yourself
Thursday, December 12

Zannino Conference Room

In this program provided by Cigna, we will examine the personal benefits of giving to yourself. Explore the relationship between giving to yourself and giving to others, and discover new ways to give to yourself. This program will also examine the obstacles that can often inhibit self-giving.

Caring for the Caregiver

Tai Chi

If you are looking for a way to reduce stress, consider tai chi (TIE-CHEE), an ancient Chinese tradition that was originally developed for self-defense. Please present a valid Pace ID when you enter the building. Any level of experience is welcome at any time.

Mindfulness for Everyone!
Friday, December 13

Kessel, Butcher Suite

Join us to learn formal and informal mindfulness practices to help you better respond to stress and find more balance in your life. All levels are welcome, from beginners through experienced meditators! The sessions will be led by Dr. Sophie Kaufman, who has been practicing yoga and meditation for 20 years and trained as a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society (CFM).

All participants will be entered in a raffle to win a Zafu meditation pillow!
