The Health and Wellness Committee is excited to present its current and upcoming health and wellness programs for Pace faculty and staff. This month, take advantage of special holiday stress management sessions, boot camp, and more!
Upcoming Wellness Events (NYC)
Tai Chi

Pace Gymnasium
If you are looking for a way to reduce stress, consider tai chi (TIE-CHEE), an ancient Chinese tradition that was originally developed for self-defense. Any level of experience is welcome at any time!

Not All Stress Is Created Equal
Monday, November 11

One Pace Plaza, Bianco Room
In this new program, provided by Cigna, we will review universal and personal factors involved in the experience of stress. Discuss how and why stress triggers and responses differ, explore targeted stress management strategies, and identify personal stress “styles” and balanced coping strategies.

Just in time for the holiday season, we are happy to offer this program, provided by Cigna! We will identify the main sources of holiday stress, learn methods to manage it, and develop a personal holiday self-care plan.

Mindfulness For Everyone!
Wednesday, December 4

One Pace Plaza, E303
Join us to learn formal and informal mindfulness practices to help you better respond to stress and find more balance in your life. All levels are welcome, from beginners through experienced meditators!
Each mindfulness session will be led by Sophie Kaufman, who has been practicing yoga and meditation for 20 years and trained as a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society (CFM).
