Ready for the 2018 Midterm elections? The voter registration deadline is Thursday, October 12, and CCAR is gearing up with free food and discussions. Get involved!

Voter 101

Politicians don’t push youth issues because the youth don’t vote. The youth don’t vote because politicians don’t push the issues you care about. Break the cycle by joining this discussion with CCAR. Free lunch will be provided!

One Vote Documentary Screening and Community Potluck
Tuesday, October 9 | 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. | Willcox Multi-Purpose Room
One Vote is a small film about a big topic: American democracy. A panel discussion will take place after the film on the 2018 midterm elections. Enjoy the free food!

Meet the Candidates
Tuesday, October 16 | 7:00 p.m. | Kessel Multi-Purpose Room
CCAR and the Organization for Chinese Americans will be welcoming those running for office in 2018 to answer community questions. This event is open to the public!

Voter Van
Tuesday, November 6 | 12:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. | Meet at Goldstein Fitness Center
CCAR will provide transportation to the Briarcliff High School polling place. Any student, staff, or faculty member that registered to vote with their 861 Bedford Road address can vote there!

Election Night Results Watch
Tuesday, November 6 | 8:00 p.m. | Gottesman Room
Join the Pace Community after casting your ballot to watch the results of the general election on elections day. Free food, fun games, and an inclusive environment make this a perfect program to watch with friends while we find out the results of this historic election in real-time.
