It may not be ALL about the Benjamins, but they can be important to those of us who want to be shot-callers. SDACA and OSS team up to host a Personal Finance Series with Mina Black in NYC.

Student Development and Campus Activities has teamed up with the Office for Student Success to host three financial literacy workshops: Personal Finance Series with Mina Black. The first, which covered budgeting, has passed but there are two upcoming events for students:

The presenter, WealthEssentials Money Management Founder Mina Ennin Black is a licensed financial advisor who specializes in educating individuals on the importance of financial empowerment. She participates in a number of civic associations including the Finance Women’s Association and National Black MBA Association, and she teaches personal finance by volunteering with the Coalition for Debtor’s Education. She also founded the “In The Black” financial workshop series and spent many years working as a Merrill Lynch Financial Advisor.
