News Story

"Climate change is a hot mess." On November 20, undergraduate students are invited to join Pace Law School faculty and students for an interactive forum on the legal tools to manage climate change.

Contemplating law school? Join Pace Law School environmental faculty and students for a unique and interactive undergraduate forum on Thursday, November 20 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Ottinger Hall, Room 01, at Pace Law School. Faculty experts on land use, renewable energy, urban revitalization, and litigation will discuss the skills necessary for climate change mitigation, retreat, resilience, and adaptation.

This will be an exciting, engaging, and informative discussion with environmental law faculty/students. Just because the content is environmental, that doesn’t mean it is not relevant to all majors and fields. The subject matter, climate change, relates to all types of legal employers (insurance, industry, government, investment, etc.). It will be a meaningful glimpse into law school and beyond.

Students must RSVP to Donna Kowal, program coordinator for Pace Academy for Applied Environmental Studies, at or (914) 773-3091. Transportation will be arranged from the NYC and Westchester campuses and food will be provided.
