Pre-Vet Club: Spring 2021 Events
If you’re an advocate of animal welfare, the Pre-Veterinary Club welcomes you! Join them for discussions, workshops, trivia, and more this semester as they spread awareness at Pace. All majors are welcome.
What is the Pre-Veterinary Club?
The purpose of the Pre-Veterinary Club is to promote interest in the field of veterinary medicine and provide members with opportunities in the veterinary medical profession. Their vision is to benefit Pace by helping students with similar interests to network, prepare students for graduate school, and provide practical experiences with animals.
What does the Pre-Veterinary Club do?
The Pre-Veterinary Club will hold monthly meetings where the executive board will present information and discuss upcoming events. Meetings will also provide opportunities for members to hear from guest speakers and learn about animal welfare. Outside of member meetings, the Pre-Veterinary Club plans to organize multiple events in which members can participate in animal-related experiences such as workshops, volunteer trips, social activities, and educational services.
Who can join?
Membership is open to anyone interested in advocating the principles of veterinary medicine and animal welfare. All majors are encouraged to participate. Therefore, membership will not be limited to only students on the pre-veterinary track.
