Project Rebirth at CHP Speaker Series
Learn about best practices for helping communities and individuals heal in the wake of tragedy.
Project Rebirth, a nonprofit dedicated to creating curricula and programs that help individuals and communities recover from grief and trauma and build resilience in the face of future challenges, will be featured on Monday, November 10, at the College of Health Professions Speaker Series. CHP Dean Harriet R. Feldman, PhD, RN, FAAN, will introduce the panel, which will include:
- Renee McLeod Sordjan, DNP, FNP-BC, RN, clinical assistant professor and assistant director of the nurse practitioner programs (FNP and AACNP), Lienhard School of Nursing, Pace University
- Jane Bear-Lehman, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA, professor and chair, Department of Health Studies, College of Health Professions, Pace University
- Aaron Leonard, executive director, Project Rebirth
- Tanya Villanueva Tepper, speaker and writer, featured in the Peabody award-winning documentary Rebirth
The program will be in the Bianco Room of One Pace Plaza. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 6:00 p.m.
