Put Your Hands On New York (NYC)
If you want to help make New York City even more pretty, join CCAR at Hands on New York Day on April 18.
Paint. Plant. Revitalize! The biggest event of CCAR's spring semester is back: Hands on New York Day, part of the city-wide New York Cares Day Spring, is full of exciting volunteer projects directed towards improving our community.
Roll up your sleeves and join more than 4,000 volunteers to plant, mulch, compost, paint, and more at a local community garden to help beautify our communal backyard on Saturday, April 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. By the end of the day, more than 70 parks, community gardens, and green spaces across the five boroughs will be spruced up and ready for the arrival of summer. Lunch and transportation will be provided. Check out photos from last year's event here.
Spots are limited for this popular event, so sign up today at http://bit.ly/HandsOnNY15.
