Queer Gala (NYC)

News Story

Pace University’s Queer Society will hold its first Queer Gala on Saturday, April 8, featuring a can’t-miss night of drag performances, DJ sets, free food, and a special guest speaker, Ericka Hart.

Put on your dancing shoes! On Saturday, April 8, the Queer Society will hold its first Queer Gala—a lavish event to bring together Pace’s LGBTQIA+ community with the greater NYC LGBTQIA+ community, and provide an inclusive and empowering space for LGBTQIA+ students and their allies.

The gala is free for Pace Students and just $5 for non-Pace guests. The festivities will include live art showcases, drag performances, free refreshments, and a DJ spinning tracks all night. Artist, activist, sex educator, and model Ericka Hart will be in attendance and sharing some inspiring words for gala-goers. Get fancy, come down, and enjoy what will be an unforgettable night. Trans-masculine hip-hop artist Lucas Charlie Rose will also be performing at the Gala. Creator of Trans Trenderz, a nonprofit record label for trans* people, he has performed at New York City Rainbow Fashion Week, Montreal Pride, Montreal's Fringe Festival, and more.
