Ready to Research

Interested in working with a faculty member on scholarly or creative research? Apply by May 15 for the Provost’s Undergraduate Student-Faculty Research Summer and Academic Year Programs.
There are many ways to make the most of your academic career while here at Pace. Conducting and publishing research can be one of the most amazing and rewarding experiences that you can have in your undergraduate education.
Are you interested in gaining knowledge and a deeper appreciation for your academic field, working one-on-one with a professor and gaining hands-on experience, strengthening your research, critical thinking, analytical, and writing skills, and building your resume? If this sounds appealing to you, we urge you to apply to the Provost’s Student-Faculty Undergraduate Research Summer 2017 and/or 2017–2018 Academic Year Programs. Applications are due no later than Monday, May 15 for both programs.
Students will work with a faculty mentor on a specific project related to their field of study. Selected pairs will be offered a stipend ($750 for the faculty; $500 for the student) to work together on a research project, submit their findings for possible publication, and present at Pace’s research showcase program. At the showcase, the two top pairs (one from each campus) will be awarded $2,000 to be used toward a national conference in their field.
To apply, please complete an online application and email it to lveloso@pace.edu. If you have any further questions please contact Linnette Veloso at lveloso@pace.edu or (212) 346-1282.
Interested in seeing what pairs accomplished during the 2016–2017 academic year? Stop by the Student and Faculty Research Days on May 4 in NYC and May 8 in Westchester.
