Red Balls Rolling (NYC)

News Story

Goodness, gracious, great red balls of fire. Eight dancers ferociously move amongst a shifting sea of red balls in the New York debut of contemporary dance company Backhausdance’s "Elasticity of the Almost" on February 27 and 28 in NYC.

Backhausdance: Incandescent and Elastacity of the Almost New York Debut
Friday and Saturday, February 27 and 28 | 7:30 p.m. | Schimmel Center

Founded by Jennifer Backhaus in 2003, Backhausdance has a diverse repertory that is entertaining as well as artistic. Repertory works include powerful, athletic dances, emotionally charged dramatic pieces, and whimsical, humorous glimpses at the human experience. The evening will feature excerpts of Incandescent and the full piece of Elasticity of the Almost.

$10 student balcony tickets are available for advance purchase in person at the box office. Student rush orchestra tickets are available for purchase at the box office on the day of the performance (subject to availability).
