Safety and Security Training (NYC)

You can never be too prepared. Join Pace Safety and Security on Tuesday, September 24, and Wednesday, September 25, for important training programs that will help you protect yourself and your loved ones in the event of an emergency.

The Pace Safety and Security Office is responsible for University-wide emergency policies and procedures in the event of a crisis. They handle any emergency alerts you might receive (be sure to download the Pace Safe app), and now they’re inviting you to attend their training sessions! Learn more about what you can do and how you can help if there’s ever an emergency.

Campus Safety Fair
Tuesday, September 24 | 3:30 p.m.–5:00 p.m. | Student Center
Receive life-saving training on Narcan usage for opioid overdose prevention, learn how to stop severe bleeding, and brush up on your CPR knowledge. You’ll also meet representatives from Pace’s Department of Emergency Management and Counseling Center, NewYork–Presbyterian Hospital, the New York Police Department, and NYC Emergency Management.

NY Citizen Preparedness Training
Wednesday, September 25 | 12:00 p.m. | Gym
With severe weather events increasing in frequency and becoming more extreme, it’s more important than ever that New Yorkers prepare for potential disasters. Learn how best to stock up on supplies, respond accordingly during a crisis, and recover as quickly as possible. Everyone who attends will receive a free preparedness kit. Please register in order to attend this training!
