The Pace Safety and Security Office is responsible for University-wide emergency policies and procedures in the event of a crisis. They handle any emergency alerts you might receive (be sure to download the Pace Safe app), and now they’re inviting you to attend their training sessions! Learn more about what you can do and how you can help if there’s ever an emergency.
Campus Safety Fair (NYC)
Learn the ins and outs of doing your part to maintain a safe, healthy, and secure Pace Community. The Campus Safety Fair will offer free life-saving trainings on Narcan usage for opioid overdose prevention, stopping severe bleeding, and hands-only CPR. You will also have the opportunity to meet representatives from Pace’s Department of Emergency Management, Office of Safety and Security, Counseling Center, NY Presbyterian Hospital, the NYPD, and NYC Emergency Management.

Citizen Preparedness Training (NYC)
With severe weather events becoming more frequent and more extreme, it is more important than ever that New Yorkers are prepared for disasters. The NY Citizen Preparedness Training program teaches residence to have the tools and resources to prepare for any type of disaster, respond accordingly, and recover as quickly as possible. Participants in this training will be advised on how to properly prepare for any disaster, including developing family emergency plans and stocking up on emergency supplies.
