Panta Rei Dance Theatre | Friday, February 23, and Saturday, February 24, at 3:00 p.m.
Panta Rei, a dance company hailing from Oslo, Norway, is best known for their fast-paced, colorful, and theatrical choreography. They come to the Schimmel to perform Lullaby, a journey through friendship, rivalry, and raw masculinity juxtaposed with the melodies of lullabies, with a metaphorical tilt toward contemporary international politics. Magically Hysterical with Judy Gold and Elliot Zimet | Saturday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m.
Judy Gold, one of the most revered performers of the past few decades, teams up with illusionist Elliot Zimet for an evening of magic and laughter. NIYAZ: The Fourth Light Project | Saturday, March 10, at 7:30 p.m.
The Fourth Light Project is the newest program of the Persian/Middle Eastern/Indian electroacoustic musical tour de force Niyaz. An immersive multi-media experience that combines live music and sacred whirling dance with interactive technologies and advanced projection and body-mapping techniques, the Fourth Light Project provides a night filled with true creativity and innovation. Niño de Elche | Wednesday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m.
Niño de Elche is a multi-disciplinary artist and contemporary deconstructionist who combines flamenco singing and toque with performance art, poetry, improvisation, minimalism, singer-songwriting, rock, and electronics. His latest piece is informed by a wide swath of Spanish musical styles and poetry, and will feature flamenco guitar, piano, synthesizers, and electronica, all minted with the special Niño de Elche touch. Kathleen Madigan | Friday, March 23, at 7:30 p.m.
Kathleen Magidan is one of the most polished stand-up comedians working today. With nearly 30 years on stage, she's performed on countless television shows include Leno, Letterman, Conan, Craig Ferguson, and more. Ricardo Ribeiro | Saturday, March 24, at 7:30 p.m.
Considered one of today's top male fado singers, Ricardo Ribeiro and his powerful, masterful voice that has landed him numerous awards and international accolades, is coming to the Schimmel for one night only. Mother Goose: New York Theatre Ballet | Sunday, March 25, at 3:00 p.m.
