Seeking Climate Justice

News Story

Students worldwide are coming together to lobby the United Nations to take decisive climate action. Learn how to get involved on Monday, September 9 (PLV Campus), or Tuesday, September 10 (NYC Campus), with renowned environmental lawyer Antonio Oposa Jr.

Under international law and in the face of the climate crisis, what are the duties of the government to future generations? Join us along with students from the Haub School of Law at Pace and renowned climate activist and environmental litigator Antonio Oposa Jr. to work on this important initiative. You’ll learn how you can get involved with the United Nations General Assembly, UN Climate Action Summit, as well as Climate Week NYC, to persuade countries to support the resolution requesting an Advisory Opinion from the International Court of Justice.
