Ted and Pat Levine Proof of Concept Entrepreneurship Initiative
Is your business idea a winner? The eLab’s got some cash to get you started!

Back by popular demand, the Entrepreneurship Lab is excited to announce the second round of the Ted and Pat Levine Proof of Concept Entrepreneurship Initiative. The eLab will fund two students up to $7,500 to test their business idea in performing proof of concept work to better understand if a product or service idea can be transformed into a successful entrepreneurial venture.

Managed by the eLab, the Levine Initiative is designed to provide funds and support to help promote new business development.

Don't let your great idea remain just that—let us help you bring your potentially groundbreaking product to the world! Last year’s winners included an online store dedicated to selling Made in the USA merchandise, a web application that allows users to easily learn basic web coding skills in a social environment, and a dance company that offers customized dance performances in the combined styles of Latin, Bollywood, hip-hop, and contemporary for weddings, parties, corporate events, and private instruction.

The deadline to apply is November 2 at 5:00 p.m.

Publicis Business Strategy and Data Science Case Competition and Briefing and Networking Reception
Want to work for the world’s largest agency network? Join Lubin at the Publicis Worldwide briefing and networking event to get the rules and deliverables of the fall 2015 Business Strategy and Data Science Case Competition.

Event: On Wednesday, October 28, from 6:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m. in the Bianco Room on the NYC Campus, Publicis senior executives will speak to Pace students and faculty about Publicis' partnership with the University, job prospects for qualified students in the coming years, and skills and competencies sought in candidates vying for a position at Publicis. Case competition details will be presented by Tim Rich, head of data services for Publicis, after a keynote address by Dean Braun. The evening will conclude with an interactive networking reception with Publicis executives, Pace faculty, and students.

Competition: Four student teams will duel it out to provide the most innovative and strategic business solutions to real-life business problems faced by Publicis' clients. This competition serves as a dynamic opportunity for Lubin students to leverage their academic skillset/knowledge and apply it to global Fortune 500 brands. First place winners will be guaranteed interviews for internships and full-time positions with Publicis North America and top performing students from the rest of the teams may be offered interviews for internships and full-time positions with Publicis North America and its many agencies. The registration deadline for the competition is October 30.
