Salon Songbook: The Gershwins and Friends

The Schimmel will host the world premiere of Salon Songbook: The Gershwins and Friends, a celebration of one of songwriting’s most successful sibling partnerships. George and Ira Gershwin, musical luminaries, ultimately transformed music during the Jazz Age, and helped give rise to the evolution of Broadway and Hollywood musicals. Disney’s Frozen Sing-Along
Saturday, October 28, at 3:00 p.m.
Do you want to build a snowman? Sing along with Anna, Elsa, and the rest of the Frozen gang on Halloween weekend for an afternoon of dress-up and Disney princesses. Disney’s Hocus Pocus
Saturday, October 28, at 7:30 p.m.
This pre-Halloween show has it all—from drag impersonators, to a costume contest, to a dance party. Relive all your favorite moments from this cult classic starring Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, Sarah Jessica Parker, and more as the movie makes its way back to the big screen. Tom Paxton with the DonJuans
Sunday, October 29, at 7:30 p.m.
Tom Paxton, Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner and folk music icon, is turning 80. Celebrate in style with the singer songwriter, who began his career in basket houses of Greenwich Village, as he teams up with the DonJuans—Don Henry and Jon Vezner. Purchase tickets for Tom Paxton.

Kate Berlant
Thursday, November 2, at 7:30 p.m.
Kate Berlant is an LA-based comedian who is quickly emerging as one of the most unique voices in live performance today. Kate was featured on an episode of Netflix Presents: The Characters. Her performances have been commissioned by the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles and she has been described by The New York Times as a “magnetic improvisational comic” at the forefront of experimental comedy. Advance ticket purchases: $10 student balcony tickets are available for advance purchase, in person, at the box office.

Rush ticket purchases: $10 student orchestra tickets are available for purchase at the box office the day of the performance.

Current student ID (any University) with photo required at time of purchase. Two tickets per performance subject to availability. All student tickets are cash sales only.
