Student Film Screening: Fall 2019 (NYC)

News Story

Lights. Camera. Setters! On Monday, December 16, Film and Screen Studies students will unveil the work they wrote, produced, and directed themselves. Come meet the next generation of visionary filmmakers.

The Film and Screen Studies (FSS) Department here at Pace provides a unique interdisciplinary education with a strong foundation in film history, critical analysis, and theory. Students receive countless opportunities for hands-on experience in production and storytelling, and after a semester of hard work, they’re ready to present the films and videos they wrote, produced, and directed entirely themselves.

Join us as we celebrate and enjoy an exclusive screening of fifty short narrative films across a wide range of genres. We hope to see you there:

Monday, December 16
5:30 p.m. reception, 6:00 p.m. screening
Schimmel Center
NYC Campus

All were shot using 16mm film cameras and HD digital cameras. The final list of featured students—and their films—will be available soon.
