News Story

On Saturday, September 24, at 12:00 p.m., the Setters return to Pace Stadium to take on the University of New Haven. The game marks this year’s annual Coach to Cure MD fundraiser.

After a week away, Pace football is back in Pleasantville to battle the Chargers of the University of New Haven. Saturday’s game is a special one—as per annual tradition, September 24 is the designated Coach to Cure MD game, intended to raise awareness and research funds to combat Duchenne muscular dystrophy, the most common fatal genetic disorder diagnosed during early childhood which affects approximately one out of every 3,500 boys and 20,000 babies born each year worldwide. To support this worthy cause, the Pace coaching staff will be wearing the event’s designated arm bands.

The first 500 fans in attendance will also receive Pace logo stadium cups sponsored by Coca Cola. Admission is free for students with their student ID. For more information, click here.
