News Story

Craft talks. Writing workshops. Poetry readings. Starting Friday, October 23, this two-day virtual poetry festival will be jam-packed with events for you to attend and flex your creativity. Get inspired!

Screensaver is an exciting new virtual poetry festival offering free private workshops and salons, public live poetry readings, and static poetry content. From Friday, October 23, through Saturday, October 24, you’ll be treated to some of the most talented visiting poets like Morgan Parker, Brenda Shaughnessy, Dorothea Lasky, and Ariana Reines. The schedule is packed, so be sure to read through the full listing! Curious about what to expect?

  • >> Salons: These are 75 minute registration-required events. Salon hosts will present thematic craft and writerly conversations to engage participants in dialogue and create poetry in these thematic traditions.
  • >> Workshops: These are 45 minute registration-required private events held by visiting poets who will lead participants through the generation of their own work.
  • >> Readings and more: These public events are available to stream through their YouTube channel and from within the Screensaver website. Sign up for event invitations and reminders. No registration is required.

This event is open to the public, so feel free to share with your friends in and outside of Pace. We hope to see you there!
