Walk to Fight Suicide
Be a voice for suicide prevention and register for the Out of the Darkness Campus Walk to raise funds for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on Friday, April 28. And stop by the first meeting on Monday, February 6.
Want to make a difference in the Pace Community and be a voice for suicide prevention? Register for the Pace University Out of the Darkness Campus Walk! On Friday, April 28, from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., join students, faculty, and community members as they raise funds to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
When you walk in the Out of the Darkness Campus Walks, you join the effort with thousands of people to raise awareness and funds that allow AFSP to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss.
As the leader in the fight against suicide, and thanks to walkers like you from cities across the country, AFSP has been able to set a goal to reduce the annual suicide rate 20% by 2025.
To register, visit bit.ly/PaceWalk. Online registration closes at noon the Friday before the walk. However, anyone who would like to participate can register in person at the walk from the time check-in begins until the walk starts. Walk donations are accepted until June 30.
