Bed, Bath, and Beyond Dance Party
6:30 p.m. | Meet at Spruce Street and Gold Street
Get those dorm room essentials and bust a move all in one trip. For those interested in making the journey to acquire everything from towels to picture frames, shuttles will be departing from the corner of Spruce and Gold, en route to this dance party/superstore extravaganza.

The Class of 2021 officially begins their journey at Pace! President Marvin Krislov will give his first address as president of Pace, followed by a keynote address by Pace alumnus Rumit Mehta '03. After the ceremony, grab some lunch and enjoy a celebration on the Hornblower Hybrid Cruise Line. Cruise #1 boards at 2:00 p.m. at Pier 15 and returns at 3:30 p.m. and Cruise #2 boards at 4:00 p.m. and returns at 5:30 p.m.

P.A.C.E. Board Fall Fest

Pace’s infamous programming board is officially welcoming you to school with their annual shindig. Drop by for some games, chow down on a culinary revelation, head to class for a few hours, and come on back to the party!
Magic and Hypnosis: Ben Seidman

Las Vegas entertainer Ben Seidman, who has appeared in Penn & Teller: Fool Us, brings his sleight-of-hand and comedy to the Schimmel stage.

Matchboxes, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, and more fill the stage with energizing beats at STOMP, the inventive and invigorating stage show that's dance, music, and theatrical performance blended together in one electrifying rhythm. You must register.

Big Gay Ice Cream Takeover and Stonewall Visit
1:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. | Meet at 41 Park Row, Room 902
Join the LGBTQA and Social Justice Center and the Women's Leadership Initiative for a takeover of Big Gay Ice Cream Shop, one of NYC's most prominent ice cream destinations. With delectable flavors ranging from the Bea Arthur, to the Salty Pimp, to the Mermaid, get this bucket list item checked off within your first week. The first 80 Pace students to show up will get free cones. Then head over to the Stonewall Inn, the spot of the Stonewall Riots and the first pride march in NYC, to snap some photos outside and learn about the history of pride. You must bring your Pace ID to attend, and you will need a MetroCard for the subway.

Rachel Vetterman ’22 transferred to Pace to pursue a combined degree: a BA in Childhood Education and an MSEd in Special Education. She’s passionate about supporting all the students she’s worked with, but it was one moment on the job that really changed her perspective.

Gabriela Wojcik ’21 is a first-gen American who transferred to Pace eager to explore all the opportunities her Communication Studies major offered. She’s the current vice president of Tau Sigma, and she hopes to guide other transfer students, too.
