Monday, September 29

Minority Report
9:00 p.m. | Miller Lecture Hall | $2

Get educated about minorities in America as OLAS (Organization of Latin America) hosts a presentation featuring statistics and video on how minorities are doing financially, educationally, and economically, how they exceed and decline in certain fields, and how we can improve. 

Tuesday, September 30

Soccer vs. Saint Rose
4:00 p.m. | Soccer Field (BRC)

Get your Tuesday kicks at a women’s soccer game. All fans in attendance will be given a discount at one of the local food sponsors.

Volleyball vs. Molloy
7:00 p.m. | Goldstein Gym

The lions will be in the house ready to attack, but can the Setters block and go in for the kill? Be at the Gym to watch Pace take on the Molloy Lions.

Karaoke and Mocktails
9:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m. | Pace Perk (BRC)

Join Zeta Phi Beta in rocking out with your mocktail out as they host karaoke and some homemade mocktails.

Wednesday, October 1

Common Hour Chaos

What’s in store for Common Hour this week? We don’t know, but we’ll find out as Programming Board hosts chaos.

Kite Runner
12:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. | Miller Lawn

Desi Heritage of Southeast Asia (DHOSA) will celebrate Sankrant, the Indian kite flying festival. Learn more about the holiday and fly some kites out on Miller Lawn.

Student Affairs Panel
6:30 p.m. | Lienhard Lecture Hall
Want to make change at a university with a career in student affairs? Learn about the different fields including residential life, campus life, diversity and inclusion, health and wellness, admissions/enrollment, and more from various panelists from Pace, Baruch, John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and Sarah Lawrence.

Thursday, October 2

Happy Hour with Programming Board
4:30 p.m. | Setters Lounge
Spend an hour kicking back with Programming Board, the student org who’s been keeping the campus full of events and fun. 

Friday, October 3

Volleyball vs. Adelphi
7:00 p.m. | Goldstein Gym
It’s going to be raining cool cats and hot dogs as the Setters take on the Panthers in the Gym. And that’s not all, big hair and blue eyeliner are back as part of the totally awesome 80s night. That’s right, dress up like your favorite Golden Girl, rock the Flock of Seagulls or Miami Vice, or bust out the legwarmers and leotards we know you have in your closet a la Flashdance. The fan wearing the best 80s attire will win a prize—tubular. Free food will be served.

Taco Night
6:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. | Pace Perk Café (BRC)
Speaking of food, it’s Phi Tauco fiesta time! Enjoy some foods with the Phi Kappa Tau dudes on a Friday night.

Saturday, October 4

Volleyball vs. Mercy

The Setters are only getting 12 hours to rest after 80s night before they take on Mercy’s Mavericks. Yeehaw.

Football vs. LIU Post
1:00 p.m. | Bus from Goldstein Gym
Pace Athletics wants to welcome you to the White House. Leave your blue and gold in the closet as Pace hosts a White Out game. There will also be a draw string bag giveaway.

Soccer vs. Bentley
3:30 p.m. | Soccer Field (BRC)
Alumni day returns to the Pace soccer field. All fans in attendance will be given a discount at one of the local food sponsors.

Colors for a Cause
4:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. | Miller Lawn
Sigma Iota Chi wants you to do or dye at their paint party to raise awareness for breast cancer and Alzheimer’s. Powdered paint stations include: blue (because they lost someone they love to Alzheimer’s), green (lost someone they love to breast cancer), yellow (support the cause and a vision of a world without Alzheimer’s and breast cancer), purple (support or care for someone with Alzheimer’s), or pink (support or care for someone with breast cancer). Students will be given water guns and powdered paint, as well as sunglasses, and the first 75 people will get white Colors for a Cause t-shirts. WPAW will DJ the event.

Sunday, October 5

City Sunday
12:00 p.m. | Meet at PLV train station
A hop, skip, and some stops separate you from one of the most vibrant cities on Earth. Enjoy Programming Board’s City Sundays, where you’ll take trips to specific areas in NYC for museums, parks, shops, and more.

Monday, October 6

Dominoes Domination
9:15 p.m.–11:30 p.m. | Setters Lounge
The name says it all: you will be eating and playing! S.O.C.A. (Students of Caribbean Awareness) invites you to join them for a night of Dominos and dominoes as they host a pizza and tournament night.
