Winter Welcome Week (NYC)

The weather may try to convince you otherwise, but the first week of the semester is gonna be sizzling! Broadway shows, pro sports, accomplished speakers, and more are teaming up with Pace for what’s sure to be a crazy-fun Winter Welcome Week!
Before the coursework piles up, be sure to take advantage of some excellent Winter Welcome Week events, which range from informative, to community-oriented, to just plain entertaining. To make the most of your early semester days, check out what we’ve got going on:
An American in Paris: Broadway Series
Tuesday, February 2 | 7:00 p.m.
Usher in the new semester with the Tony Award winning musical and classic story about an American soldier and mysterious French woman starting anew in the aftermath of the Second World War. An American in Paris earned more awards than any other musical during the 2014–2015 season, and Pace students can see it for the cool price of $40—a true steal for Broadway! Reserve a seat. Women’s Basketball vs. Adelphi
Wednesday, February 3 | 5:30 p.m. | Civic Center Gym
Cheer on Pace as the Setters gear up for the stretch run and look to outclaw the Panthers of Adelphi University. Pace already defeated Adelphi earlier this year, and can earn permanent NE-10 bragging rights with a season sweep. It’s college basketball time, baby!
An Evening with Daymond John: The People’s Shark
Wednesday, February 3 | 6:30 p.m. | Schimmel Theatre
Daymond John, the CEO of FUBU, who has brought his savvy entrepreneurial know-how to the national stage as an investor on ABC’s hit show Shark Tank, is coming to Pace courtesy of ALPFA! Head to the Schimmel on Wednesday, February 3, for some can’t-miss insights and tips on how to succeed in the ever-competitive business world. More info here.

Setters Leaders Mentorship Program (SLMP) Meet and Greet!

New York Knicks vs. Memphis Grizzlies
Friday, February 5 | 7:30 p.m. | Madison Square Garden
Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis, and the resurgent Knicks will look to continue their playoff push against the Memphis Grizzlies. If you’ve never caught a game at the newly renovated World’s Most Famous Arena, it’s a must. Plus, the Madison Square Garden area has just got a major upgrade in the realm of delectable food. Kinky Boots: Broadway Series

New York Islanders vs. Los Angeles Kings
