Broadway music director and conductor William Waldrop (Cats, The Phantom of the Opera, Evita) and award-winning voice teacher and music director Peter Thoresen (faculty at Pace University, Peter Thoresen Vocal Studios, Musical Theatre College Auditions; students in Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Mean Girls & many more) will offer their 3 installment masterclass series Broadway Combos beginning October 13.

Dr. Peter Thoresen is an award-winning voice teacher, performer and music director. He maintains a thriving private studio in NYC (Peter Thoresen Vocal Studios) and is an adjunct professor of voice at Pace University. His students appear regularly on Broadway (Dear Evan Hansen, Caroline, or Change, Hamilton, Mean Girls, Kinky Boots, Beetlejuice and many others), off-Broadway, in national tours, and on TV and film. Peter also teaches, music directs, and performs in the Middle East and Asia with the Association of American Voices. He holds a Doctor of Music degree in voice from the Indiana University Jacob School of Music.

Broadway World featured Lubin student EB Frances Fehlner in "BWW Blog: So You Think You Can't Dance?"

As for me, I'm working hard to get my degree in Arts and Entertainment Management at Pace University. Do I think that my years spent as a performer was wasted? Absolutely not. I had so much fun on stage, and I have such fond memories of learning choreography, getting ugly costumes, and the sadness felt after the last performance. Maybe someday I'll get back up there, I don't know! All I know is that in 10 years, I'll be on Broadway, living my childhood dream, even if it's not exactly what I pictured.

Broadway World featured Adjunct Professors Will Reynolds and Eric Price in "This MT Space Launches Online Musical Theater Classes"

Composer and lyricist team Will Reynolds and Eric Price (winners of the 2018 Fred Ebb Award) have launched This MT Space, a new online education platform.

Reynolds and Price, who are Adjunct Professors at Pace University School for Performing Arts and Molloy College/CAP21, will teach "Filling the Page," a musical theatre songwriting course, and "Filling the Gaps," a career-building class.

"Filling the Page" will emphasize storytelling through song and is designed for all levels of writers. Not only will the class focus on the creation of music and lyrics, but also on how that material can become digital content and reach audiences in our socially distanced communities. The class will also allow for an ongoing discussion about how the state of the world today informs the stories we tell.

"Filling the Gaps" will be a series of conversations with some of the most successful and impactful artists working on Broadway. Students will have the opportunity to interact with special guests, including Tony-nominees Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, The Last Five Years film) and Laura Osnes (Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella, Bonnie & Clyde) along with Patti Murin (Frozen),Marc Bruni (director of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Jennifer Ashley Tepper (Creative and Programming Director of Feinstein's/54 Below, producer Be More Chill), Justin Guarini (American Idol, In Transit) and more to be announced.

Broadway World featured Pace graduate Tal Fox in "West of Broadway Learns How Self Tape for the Soul is Making a Difference"

Tal Fox has worked professionally for over 10 years in the entertainment industry. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre and a BA in Communications from Pace University in New York City and has lectured and taught across the US at schools, acting programs, and theaters. In her five years as a Talent Agent at Kazarian/Measures/Ruskin & Associates she ran the Equity/Theater department and developed the Youth TV/ Film Department, advancing many careers and putting a multitude of actors on Broadway, in Television and Film, in National Tours, and Regional Theater productions. Additionally, with her experience Performing, working in Casting (credits include Center Theatre Group, 5- Star Theatricals, Theatre @ Boston Court, The Echo Theater, Greenway Court Theatre, The Rockwell Table & Stage, Bleecker St. Theatre in NYC), and in Producing, she brings a high quality of understanding of both acting technique and business savvy to her teaching. Most recently, Tal held the position of Education Director and Artistic Associate for 5-Star Theatricals, the regional theater in Thousand Oaks, CA, where in addition to developing, teaching classes and producing, she continues to act as Casting Director and part-time Producer. She is incredibly passionate about performing arts education and teaches throughout Los Angeles and Southern California, in addition to performing regularly.

Broadway World featured Pace adjunct faculty member in arts and entertainment management Michele Thompson in "Bessies Executive Director Lucy Sexton to Step Down"

Michele Thompson has more than 25 years of experience in cultural and educational administration, fundraising, and external relations at leading institutions including The 92nd Street Y, Trisha Brown Dance Company, Carnegie Hall, American Ballet Theatre, and Vanderbilt University. She has consulted with The Jewish Museum, Urban Bush Women, and the Kennedy Center, among others. She completed the Interim Executive Director Training Program at the Non-Profit Support Center and has completed two interim E.D. postings, first at Doug Varone and Dancers and, most recently, with A.I.M. (formerly Abraham.in.Motion). She is an adjunct faculty member in arts and entertainment management at Pace University, where she works with upper-level undergraduates about to enter the field in diverse disciplines. She holds both a bachelor's and master's degree from Vanderbilt University.

"Broadway World" featured musical theatre student Samantha Williams in "Photo Flash: Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts November Events"

While in Houston for the Dear Evan Hansen tour, Samantha Williams (Theatre '15), also made a guest appearance at Kinder HSPVA to speak to current theatre students about her breakthrough into the world of Broadway. Williams is currently studying musical theatre at Pace University. She recently made her Broadway debut in the Tony-winning production of Dear Evan Hansen in May 2019.
