Jonathan Brown, Director of the Food and Beverage Law Clinic at PACE University said, “I’m thrilled that the state is committed to supporting and growing Farmland for a New Generation New York. Transitioning farmland to the next generation of farmers is a complex process, and finding affordable and appropriate farmland is challenging for so many young farmers.  It takes a coordinated effort of many great organizations in our state to meet these challenges, and FNG-NY is making that possible.”

Chronicle Express featured Director of the Food and Beverage Law Clinic Jonathan Brown in "NY Kitchen hosts online Farm Law workshop"

New York Kitchen will host a virtual Farm Law 101 workshop -- in partnership with Pace University’s Food and Beverage Law Clinic -- to serve as an introduction to key legal topics for farmers and those interested in starting a farm business. Jonathan Brown is the Director of the Food and Beverage Law Clinic at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. With faculty supervision, law students in the Food and Beverage Law Clinic provide pro bono legal representation to small farms, food and beverage entrepreneurs, and nonprofit organizations. Brown also serves on the board of NOFA-NY.
