Fox News featured professor Criminal Justice Professor Darrin Porcher in "Experts fear reclaiming Seattle 'CHOP' zone is daunting task"

Retired NYPD Lt. Darrin Porcher, a professor of criminal justice at New York’s Pace University who has appeared on “Fox & Friends,” said he was confident that negotiations involving CHOP protesters, community leaders, police and elected officials will end the occupation.

“But if the leadership at that table can’t resolve the various agendas then they will have to resort to police action,” Porcher said. “That’s going to be the last resort."

Porcher said that if that becomes necessary, Seattle police will devise a “disorder control strategy” involving officers in riot gear, "hats and bats."

As part of that strategy, police leaders would probe the occupied area for a soft spot to gain access, he said.

Former NYPD lieutenant Darrin Porcher told “Fox & Friends” on Monday that “the leadership is horrible, to say the least.”

He stressed that what is happening in Seattle is “a classic example of leadership at its worst point.”

Porcher said that “police have to come in and take back that property.”

He pointed out that “city leaders can be held liable, civilly in a civil court because we look at all of the business owners that have no representation whatsoever by the city leaders.”

"Fox News" featured Haub Law Professor Margot Pollans in "What is the farm bill? From food stamps to conservation efforts, a look at the massive legislation"

...What is the farm bill?

A complicated omnibus package, the farm bill, at its core, regulates agriculture production in the U.S. In particular, it tackles how produce is grown, what it costs and how American agriculture exists in the international food arena, Dr. Marion Nestle, a well-known New York University food nutritionist, told Fox News.

The goals of the farm bill have changed over time, from having more of a focus on a safety net for farmers to including protection from hunger, said Margot Pollans, a Pace University law professor and member of the Farm Bill Enterprise.
