"Westchester Rising" featured Marvin Krislov in "Pace President Sings Karoake with Students"

Pace University students in Pleasantville joined President Marvin Krislov, Provost Vanya Quinoñes and faculty members at Fern Dining Hall for a recent afternoon of karaoke. As a music lover, Krislov took the lead during the lively rendition of "The Foundations" "Build Me Up Buttercup," alongside staff members. He also cheered each student who confidently stood in the middle of the cafeteria to entertain the campus' lunch crowd.

This is the second year that Krislov has bonded with students at the musical event. He also sang with students at a similar event Oct. 4 at the university's New York City campus.

Krislov was recently named to City & State's New York Power 50, a list of most powerful people in Westchester.

"Marvin Krislov took the reins of the univeristy last year, becoming its eighth president" writes City & State. "He is a dynamic force leading an institution with 13,000 students in New York City and Westchester. The former president of Oberlin College and former vice president and general counsel at the University of Michigan is also an accomplished attorney and legal scholar, having worked in the U.S. Labor Department during the Clinton administration. Krislov has long fought for college inclusiveness and student diversity."
