Passion for filmmaking and photography

When he’s not on the racetracks, Rowe is busy working on his other career choice. He’s a second semester junior film studies major at Pace University’s New York City campus. Originally, he wanted to major in cinematography, but he would have to take courses outside the city, at the school’s Pleasantville, N.Y. campus.

“I want to be the man behind the camera,” he explained. “I have a really good eye for things. The camera really calls out to me.”

He decided to stay in the city where he could easily collaborate on projects with other creatives. Those projects include two cinematographer gigs with filmmaker with Matt Hennion, including a 30-minute short film expected to release shortly.

Atlanta-native Myles Rowe will make his debut as Force Indy’s inaugural driver in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship at the Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, AL on the April 15 – 18 weekend. He’s competed in the TAG Junior category in the Superkarts USA, World Karting Association, and the United States Pro Kart Series. When he’s not racing, Rowe is a junior at Pace University, studying film and screen studies.

Officials from Force Indy, a race ream created specifically to develop talent with a diverse group of individuals, have named Myles Rowe as the team’s first driver. He’s competed in the TAG junior category in the Superkarts USA, World Karting Association, and the United States pro Kart Series. When’s he’s’ not racing, Rowe is a junior at Pace University, studying film and screen studies.
