Gurbaksh Chahal, Founder and CEO of RadiumOne, to deliver keynote address at Pace University’s Entrepreneurs Roundtable, Thursday, February 20
New York, NY – February 10, 2014 – The Entrepreneurship Lab at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business will hold a roundtable discussion with three Pace alumni entrepreneurs and an active angel investor on what it takes to build a new venture and receive early-stage funding.
The event will take place on Thursday, February 20, at Pace’s downtown New York City campus, east of City Hall and six blocks from Wall Street, in the Aniello Bianco Room of One Pace Plaza, from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Gurbaksh Chahal, Founder and CEO of RadiumOne, will deliver the keynote address. RadiumOne is Chahal's third company and is rumored for an IPO this year as his firm’s ad revenue has reached over $100 million. Chahal received an honorary Doctor of Commercial Science from Pace in 2010.
A roundtable discussion will include Pace alumni entrepreneurs David Arabov, co-founder of Elite Daily; Lenny Kharitonov, co-founder of BedroomFurnitureDiscounts.com; and Craig Tashman, co-founder of LiquidText. Carlos F. Flores, Managing Director, Golden Seeds Angel and Venture Capital Investment Group, will also participate in the discussion. Moderator: Bruce Bachenheimer, Clinical Professor of Management and Director of the Entrepreneurship Lab at Pace.

About the speakers:
Gurbaksh Chahal started his first company, ClickAgents, in January 1999 at the age of 16. Eighteen months later he sold it for $40 million to ValueClick. In 2004, he launched his second company, BlueLithium. In 2007, Yahoo! acquired BlueLithium for $300 million in cash.
David Arabov co-founded EliteDaily in 2012 to be “The Voice of Generation-Y” and the site now reaches over 40 million people a month. The company has a staff of 37, all within the ages of 19 and 26, and more than 2,000 contributors around the world.
Lenny Kharitonov co-founded BedroomFurnitureDiscounts.com in 2010 as the e-commerce portion of Unlimited Furniture Group and has grown to $8 million in revenue in just three years.
Craig Tashman co-founded LiquidText in 2012. A young startup, LiquidText is a multi-touch document manipulation system that gives students and knowledge workers better ways to annotate, navigate, visualize and understand long, complex documents.
Carlos F. Flores invests in early stage, technology-oriented ventures as Managing Director of Golden Seeds Angel and Venture Capital Investment Group, the third most active Angel Group in the U.S., with nearly 300 members, having invested to date $58 million in 58 companies.
Bruce Bachenheimer teaches undergraduate and graduate courses, primarily in the areas of entrepreneurship, management, and strategy at Pace. He is also the creator and organizer of the annual Pace Pitch Contest and Pace Business Plan Competition.
