Patch featured Pace University in "Pace University to Host its Annual Cybersecurity Conference"
Former Navy Cyber Director Danelle Barrett to Keynote
Pace University, in partnership with Cyber Intelligence 4U, is holding its annual Cybersecurity Conference on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2020. The full day event, in its fourth year, will be held virtually and is open to the public.
The keynote speaker is Former Rear Admiral and Cyber Director for the U.S. Navy Danelle Barrett (PDF), a respected industry leader and innovator. Rear Admiral Barrett was responsible for the Navy's cybersecurity strategy, its policies, and information technology architectures supporting global missions involving 279 ships, 3,700 aircraft, 93 submarines, and hundreds of locations with shore critical infrastructure around the world. In her role, she also provided critical advocacy and strategic advice for a $150 billion information technology and portfolio investment.
The conference includes panels and sessions on operational risk, cyber maturity, risk and regulation, and ransomware strategy, among many other discussions led by industry professional and Seidenberg faculty. There will also be breakout sessions on women in cyber, cyber insurance, analytics, financial regulations and vendor cyber risk management. View the full schedule.
