Westchester Lawyer featured Haub Law Dean Horace Anderson's piece "Looking Ahead, Once Again"
A year ago, just after I was appointed Dean of the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, I shared with you in this space my vision of Haub Law for the next 40 years. I mentioned among other things our proximity to New York, our emphasis on practice-based training and our large offering of clinics and externships, our new Flex J.D. program, our revamped Advanced Certificate of Health Law and policy, and our highly ranked Environmental Law program.
And then 2020 happened, with the COVID-19 pandemic, the killing of George Floyd, and the highly contentious national election. While we have pursued the above-mentioned priorities, new ones emerges as the year progressed.
With the worldwide pandemic raging in March, Pace University officials announced the transition of instruction to remote learning for all three Pace University campuses, first to the end of the month, then through the end of the school year and summer.
