Pleasantville Project

Kessel Student Center

The Kessel opening is a great opportunity to demonstrate the Master Plan projects coming to completion and offering benefits to the whole Pace Community.

The expansion of Kessel includes new student lounges, an expanded dining and servery area, a multi-purpose room, student government offices and Dean’s Suite. Fern Dining Hall was named for generous donors Jim and Dolores Fernandez. Boudreau Lounge was made possible by the generous gift of donors Don and Susan Boudreau. The expanded dining area boasts floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the improved Choate Pond in the center of campus.

Students in Pleasantville now have new contemporary space in the Kessel Student Center that can be utilized for events, meetings and casual gatherings. The more inviting student center will serve as a hub for living-learning activities and events on campus.

An official ribbon cutting ceremony (PDF) hosted by the Office of Administration took place on April 23, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. To see photos from the event, click here.
